Terdad was created by UNESCO under “Li Beirut.” TERDAD – or RESONANCE in English – allowed the creative echoes of Beirut to resonate again and silence the sound of explosions over the course of 3 days of public cultural activities. Nine artists were invited to participate in a communal workshop, where they spent 6 hours creating comics with one general constraint to guide them. This challenged the artists’ storytelling skills by pushing them outside their comfort zones and encouraging creative thinking beyond the ordinary.
